Ande grew up spending most of her time at a boat access cabin in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. In her younger years there was no hydro or indoor washroom, only an outhouse and an outdoor cold running water tap during the summer months. During the winter months a wood stove was the only source of heat and water was retrieved from the lake using an ice auger.  Spending the summers and  weekends throughout the year was an incredible experience. A definite tomboy learning to drive boats, snowmobiles, and quads at a young age, she also had an appreciation for solitude and nature. It was not uncommon to come across wildlife such as bears, wolves and foxes around the cabin.

Things progressed and eventually there was hydro and running water, however there was never an indoor toilet, only the outhouse. Learning how to cut and split wood for the woodstove, navigating the water to get to and from the cabin and living in the wilderness is a very important aspect of who she is today. She was very sensitive and did not have a sense of belonging as a child, however the cabin was her safe place. Later in life she discovered she was highly sensitive and an empath and began to explore spirituality. She discovered that she was storing unresolved trauma from losing her father at a young age and being raised by an unstable mother, somewhat fending for herself from the age of 10. This eventually manifested into illness that took several years to diagnose as mercury and lead toxicity. The healing journey began with Naturopathic care and then evolved into EFT tapping work with a psychotherapist and eventually shadow work, channeling, and energy healing with another therapist. A love for wellness, yoga and meditation followed. Fully believing that we store our past in our bodies, she felt a knowing that her path was intended for helping others understand themselves fully. She has spent her adult life in finance, currently a financial controller for a Canadian brewing company and looking to eventually take those skills into a health-based organization. Hobbies include playing the guitar, reading, writing, snowmobiling, boating, hiking, snowshoeing, surfing and paddle boarding.
